Rotarian Nancy led the club in the singing of the national anthem.

Announcements:

  • Group signup sheet up was passed around for duck ticket sales.
  • There was a Board meeting last night. Items will be covered next week.
  • Rotarian Rob is looking for banner from last year’s duck race

Club Celebrations:
There were no birthdays or anniversaries to celebrate this week.

  • Anna spent time with her mom on her birthday.
  • Ben enjoyed time with his fiancé’s family

Programme:
President Anna introduced this evening’s speaker, Stephanie Gilmer. Stephanie is the executive director of World Hope Canada. World Hope is a Christian relief and development organization that works with national partners focusing on HIV/Aids, human trafficking, food security, clean water, sanitation, and health education. They currently operate in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Swaziland, and Ukraine. Rotarian Rob thanked Stephanie for her presentation.
