Announcements:

  1. President Anna advised everyone they should be receiving the district newsletter by e-mail.

  2. Rotarian John Wilson reminded everyone that  Anniversary Park opens Friday at 11:15

  3. Rotarian Rob noted that there are that we have enough volunteers for the event on May 26th and members are reminded to wear their rotary shirts

  4. President Anna noted the club had passed by an opportunity to raise funds working at a BBQ during Dandelion Festival.

Programme:
Amber Payne, a local Organic farmer gave a brief overview of her operation.

Upcoming Programme:
May 28 Dinner meeting at WB George with committee meetings and Board report.
June 1  Rotary Party at Nancy and John’s – Potluck, car rally etc etc . bring a friend (more details to follow)

June 4 Rotary spaghetti dinner meeting at the Youth Centre. Youth will present their My View film festival presentations.

President Anna closed the meeting with the Four Way Test.

 

Go to the grocery store and buy better things. Buy quality, buy organic, buy natural, go to the farmers market. Immediately that's going to increase the quality of the food you make.
