Youth Exchange Students Enjoy Winterlude

Fifteen inbound exchange students to our District as well as six rebound students and two rebounds from other districts celebrated Winterlude this weekend with seven members of the District Youth Exchange Committee. During their stay in Ottawa, the students took in the ice sculptures in Confederation Square as well skating on the canal. In addition there were guided tours of the Parliament Buildings as well as the Museum of Civilization.
Two local students will be going out on long term exchange from our community in fall 2012, one sponsored by our club and one sponsored by Nepean-Kanata.
